Sea Sun & Sand – Typical Summer Vacation – 11 Days 10 Nights

11 Days / 10 Nights

Quick look

Sri Lanka is a teardrop-shaped island surrounded by the warm Indian Ocean, with 1700 kilometres of sandy coastline and 45 estuaries and 40 lagoons, the majority of which contain unique vegetation such as mangroves.

Sri Lanka has about 30 popular beaches along its 1700-kilometer coastline. Among the many beaches Kalpitiya is one of the most beautiful and least visited beaches in Sri Lanka, owing to its remote location away from the tourist trail. There are 14 islets in the vicinity of Kalpitiya. Bathalgunduwa is one of the key islets near the Kalpitiya show, and the majority of these islets are rich in vegetation that is peculiar to the area. A boat trip to these islets and snorkelling around them is an unforgettable experience.

Tricomalee and Pasikuda are other less visited but very beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka because they were cut off from the rest of the country for over 30 years (1983-2009) due to the civil war.

Trincomalee beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with limitless kilometers of pure white sand. It is noted for its clean waters, hygiene, and beauty, and the shallow waters of Trincomalee Beach is ideal for swimming. And Pigeon Island, one of Sri Lanka’s two marine national parks, is the ideal spot for snorkelling.

Pasikudah has one of the world’s longest stretches of shallow reef coastline. People walk for kilometers into the sea because the water is only a few feet deep and the current is weak in comparison to the rest of Sri Lanka’s coasts.
