09 Days / 08 Nights

Quick look

Sri Lanka is a teardrop-shaped island surrounded by the warm Indian Ocean, with 1300 kilometres of sandy coastline and 45 estuaries and 40 lagoons, the majority of which contain unique vegetation such as mangroves.

Sri Lanka has about 30 popular beaches along its 1300-kilometer coastline. Among the many beaches Kalpitiya is one of the most beautiful and least visited beaches in Sri Lanka, owing to its remote location away from the tourist trail. There are 14 islets in the vicinity of Kalpitiya. Bathalgunduwa is one of the key islets near the Kalpitiya show, and the majority of these islets are rich in vegetation that is peculiar to the area. A boat trip to these islets and snorkelling around them is an unforgettable experience.

Tricomalee and Pasikuda are other less visited but very beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka because they were cut off from the rest of the country for over 30 years (1983-2009) due to the civil war.

Trincomalee beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with limitless kilometers of pure white sand. It is noted for its clean waters, hygiene, and beauty, and the shallow waters of Trincomalee Beach is ideal for swimming. And Pigeon Island, one of Sri Lanka’s two marine national parks, is the ideal spot for snorkelling.

Pasikudah has one of the world’s longest stretches of shallow reef coastline. People walk for kilometers into the sea because the water is only a few feet deep and the current is weak in comparison to the rest of Sri Lanka’s coasts.

Because of the tragic conflict in Sri Lanka, the north-eastern portion of the island remained inaccessible to tourists for a good number of years. Because of the area’s large Tamil population, it has its own distinct culture, and for the better part of the last three decades, it has been cut off from the rest of the island. As a consequence of this, the experience that one might have in Sri Lanka’s NorthEast area is very different from that in the rest of the country.

Trincomalee experiences its highest volume of visitors during the months of June and August; thus, the cost of hotels and other types of accommodations may be higher than typical during this time.

Additional information about the region and its history will be given to you from your chauffeur guide, who will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Leisure afternoon

Pasikudah, often spelled Pasikuda, is a beach resort town located 35 kilometers to the northwest of Batticaloa in the Batticaloa District of Sri Lanka. The name Pasikuda translates to “Green-Algae-Bay” in Tamil. In the past, this location was a sleepy Tamil village located beside the Kalkudah River. Both the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004 and the Sri Lankan Civil War were responsible for the widespread destruction that occurred in Pasikuda.

One of the longest pieces of coastline that is protected by shallow reefs may be found in Pasikudah. Because the water is only a few feet deep and the current is weak in comparison to the rest of Sri Lanka’s coasts, people walk for kilometers into the sea.

Since ancient times, the relic has been an essential element in regional politics due to the widespread belief that whoever holds it has absolute power over the region. Throughout history, Sinhalese kings have guarded the artifact. World Heritage status for the temple of the tooth is due in part to the relic housed within it.

King Wickramabahu III came to power in 1371, and he held court in Peradeniya on the banks of the Mahaweli River, where the Botanic Gardens were first established.Specimens from Kew Garden, Slave Island, Colombo, and the Kalutara Garden in Kalutara were used to create the Peradeniya Botanical Garden in 1843.
